Last October Hampshire and I got married. This means that for ten months of 2011 I was planning a wedding.

Hallo from Deutschland. 2012 will be a difficult year and I will determine whether I will still be in Germany in 2013.


1.	Improve my German
Despite having a girlfriend who speaks to me in German, I still reply in English 90% of the time. My German listening and reading skills are okay, but my speaking skills are not where they should be after having lived here for three years.

It is now a full year since a trip to Europe to spend Christmas with the family of my ex (notice how I avoided having to work out how to spell ex's?!?). It was a pretty emotional time for me, my relationship was not in a good place, I was terribly unhappy and unfulfilled at work and I felt pretty hopeless about the future because I thought I had missed my chance of living and working overseas.

So recently I was dumped by my boyfriend of close to two years.
